What is this show about in 3 sentences or less?
I think that this play explores power dynamics within families and relationships, and also non-linear ways of presenting time onstage.
What’s your favorite thing about working on this production?
Getting to work with actors whose work I admire but with whom I've not had a chance to work with before.
How did you get into theatre?
I played the voice of Mother Bunny in a kindergarten shadow puppet version of Peter Rabbit in 1958.
How is working with The Magnetic different from working with other theatres?
Although other theatre companies occasionally present new work by local playwrights, Magnetic focuses on such work as the heart of its season.
What's your most interesting family story?
My late mother-in-law's accounts of living under the Japanese occupation of Malaya during World War II.

David Mycoff (Senator Wilson) has performed in many Asheville area stage productions with a number of theatre companies, including The Montford Park Players, Warren Wilson Theatre, Different Strokes! Performing Arts Collective, Hendersonville Theatre, Attic Salt Theatre Company, and The Magnetic Theatre.
