A Few Questions With Caroling by Gaslight Actor Jered Shults

Caroling by Gaslight opens on December 2nd, 2022! Everyone knows the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, the tightfisted old miser. But if you thought he was bad, wait until you get a load of his neighbors. Find out what really happened that fateful night in this hilariously devious R-rated retelling of the Charles Dickens' classic, A Christmas Carol.

We reached out to Jered Shults to find out more about him and his experience working on this production!

Favorite seeing the Holiday decor.

How did you get into theatre?

For my friend Daniel Moore, “through the front door”.

There's a lot of talk about gruel and gin in this play... What is your favorite dish to cook (or eat) during the holiday season?

Banana Pudding.

Biography

Jered is always excited to return to the wonderful Magnetic Theater his home theater. Jered has been acting in WNC since 2015. Jered has appeared on many stages throughout the area Parkway Playhouse, Ana Carem, and the Montford Park Players. Some of Jered's favorite roles have been Robinhood in The Legend of Sherwood, Ken in Red, Protagonist in Nocturne, and Roger in In a Clearing.
