An Interview With Wandering With Magnetic Actor Daphne Phillips-Sprague

Meet Daphne Phillips-Sprague! She will be joining us for our next production, Wandering With Magnetic: something i cared about which follows the story of Alyx and Dru, as it unfolds throughout their lives, performed along the Reed Creek Greenway.

Audiences will walk the trail and see scenes of the same couple, played by a different pair of actors in each scene. We reached out to Daphne to tell us a bit about herself and about what her experience has been like during this production.

1. What is your favorite Asheville area walking trail/ greenway?

Craggy Garden

2. Do you relate to your character? How similar/different are you?

I like dolls as well

3. What's your favorite line in this show? Why?

why are you spying on me rude! or GROSS!

4. What is one thing you’d be willing to give up for someone else?

Working with my dad as director

I get to do the show with my best friend

7. How did you get into theatre?

My dad forced me to go to a camp and I loved it

Biography

Daphne is delighted to be making her Magnetic Theatre debut in something i cared about. Previously she played Little Fan in A Christmas Carol with the Montford Park Players. She has played various roles while at Tanglewood and other performing arts camps. She is in fifth grade at Claxton Elementary.  She enjoys reading, drawing, and playing video games when not performing.
